These pages are intended to provide convenient access to a wide variety of garden and gardening websites.
- What criteria are used to include or exclude sites?
Included:- Public arboreta, gardens, and parks (with significant gardens) websites
- Cooperative Extension and Master Gardener websites
- Garden club and society websites
- National and regional gardening organizations websites
Excluded:
- Arboreta and gardens that don't have their own websites
- Personal pages
- Vendor sites
- Promotion and travel sites (except for official Tourism Offices)
- How do I get my site on or off this list?

A Personal Note
I like creating and maintaining website directories, so I decided to build one about public gardens and gardening websites. The directory started with just public gardens but grew as I added related topics. For example, I figure that if you enjoy visiting gardens you probably would like to know about flower shows, garden clubs, or scenic byways. Every site in the directory has been visited and explored at least briefly.
Why garden websites? Mostly because these are some of the best of the web. Garden sites often have wonderful virtual tours and gorgeous photography. Occasionally, I've come across a site that offers great writing like the Amy B. H. Greenwell Ethnobotanical Garden - what a treat.
I will admit that I'm more of an armchair gardener than a green thumb gardener, but on the web no one knows your garden is mostly virtual! I hope you find this website useful.
